Vintage Vanilla

We first saw this fabric when we were looking for things to make Cecilia pants out of but we just knew it would work beautifully in Rosalind and it does. Our signature no VPL Rosalind style just disappears under clothes and the shades of cream, black and grey in this print make this a great pair of pants to match with everyday block colour bras.

The Cecilia version is Dark Lotus.

I also received these as my latest YOP selection - I've been buying Aimee and occasionally Cecilia simply because I'm a bit OCD on co-ordination and I find the colours/patterns easier to work with but these are wonderful ... a better fit and even more comfy ... and the pattern is lovely (I'm also a bit of a 'pretty' girlie girl when it comes to my knickers) ... have just invested in another pair of Rosalind - Midnight Mint - my knicker drawer is going to look so great!

These arrived as this month's Year of Pants and as is my habit I wore them as quickly as possible - which was today!

I have some other Rosalind, and at first view they do always look quite skimpy - don't let those looks deceive, there is more than enough knicker to cover your buns! The fabric has enough substance to be supportive as well as stretchy and the lace is lovely and non-itchy.

The cut is quite high, but that simply means a nice clean line under clothes and less chance to roll into a ridge - do people have the same hatred of VPL that we did in the 80s and 90s? Well, you don't get it with WMYP!

I love the black and white pattern - as is often the case I find myself wishing I had a matching bra to go with, but it will go equally well with black or white and still give a bit of swirly-patterned cheer.

I can see these are going to become a firm favourite...

Snug, pretty pants. Ideal with plain black or white bras.
